An overhaul of the existing website and complete redesign of a site previously hosted on Wix (which was not responsive). The client needed the facility to easily add new and existing projects to a portfolio section, and needed help with writing content, designing a new logo and sourcing images.
The project involved content strategy, WordPress web design, logo design, sourcing stock photography, custom fonts, SEO, domain name registration, VPS hosting, Google Business and email setup. This is a bespoke theme built on top of UnderStrap (Underscores combined with Bootstrap4) with Advanced Custom Fields for content and minimal plugins. Extra functionality is hand-coded in PHP and Javascript. Image uploads are automatically resized and restricted to a minimum upload size so that the client does not have to do extra work or require developer time to manage image uploads.
